Make Homemade Granola

Here is a simple recipe for homemade granola:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, pecans, or walnuts)

  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, nuts, and shredded coconut.

  3. In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup or honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.

  5. Spread the mixture out evenly on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring once or twice to ensure even cooking.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

  8. Stir in the dried fruit, if using.

  9. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Note: You can customize the recipe by adding more or different ingredients like seeds, chocolate chips, or different kinds of nuts and dried fruits.
